Des Ferrari roses en endurance, des combinaisons fuchsia sur les circuits, des vestes assorties dans les paddocks du Global Champions Tour : depuis 2018, les\u00a0<em>Iron Dames<\/em>\u00a0ont d\u00e9barqu\u00e9 avec l\u2019assurance d\u2019un blockbuster. Un projet total, pens\u00e9 par Deborah Mayer pour que les femmes puissent \u201cperformer \u00e0 armes \u00e9gales\u201d dans les sports m\u00e9caniques comme dans l\u2019\u00e9quitation. Un journaliste, bien inform\u00e9 des paddocks automobile, a \u00e9voqu\u00e9 des difficult\u00e9s financi\u00e8res pour la fondatrice du projet. \u00c0 l\u2019appui, une information qui fait tache d\u2019huile : Mayer aurait mis en vente une partie de sa collection de voitures, dont deux ayant port\u00e9 les couleurs d\u2019Iron Lynx, la structure s\u0153ur des Iron Dames en sport automobile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans la foul\u00e9e, les signes de f\u00e9brilit\u00e9 se sont accumul\u00e9s. Doriane Pin, \u00e9toile montante du programme automobile, a interrompu sa saison de FRECA pour se concentrer sur la F1 Academy. L\u2019\u00e9quipe Prema, partenaire historique d\u2019Iron Lynx en IndyCar, serait, elle aussi, en difficult\u00e9. Elle a aussi investi lourdement dans le jumping, en lan\u00e7ant deux \u00e9quipes dans la prestigieuse\u00a0<em>Global Champions League<\/em>. Un transfert discret, mais symbolique : cette jument-star incarnait la puissance d\u2019investissement d\u2019Iron Dames.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les observateurs notent \u00e9galement que d\u2019autres chevaux du piquet pourraient \u00eatre propos\u00e9s \u00e0 la vente. Une inflexion notable pour une structure qui semblait jusqu\u2019ici fonctionner sans la moindre contrainte financi\u00e8re.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Mayer, la volont\u00e9 d\u2019un mod\u00e8le<\/strong>`<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Derri\u00e8re les Iron Dames, il y a une femme : Deborah Mayer. 48 ans, financi\u00e8re,  ancienne pilote, entrepreneuse, m\u00e9c\u00e8ne, elle a b\u00e2ti son image sur la conviction que la performance n\u2019a pas de genre. Multiplier les fronts : sport auto, endurance, IndyCar, F1 Academy, jumping,  exige des moyens consid\u00e9rables. Et les signaux de septembre laissent penser que la fondatrice doit d\u00e9sormais jongler entre passion, pragmatisme et r\u00e9alit\u00e9 \u00e9conomique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sur le terrain, pourtant, le projet r\u00e9siste. \u00c0 Fuji, lors des 6 Heures, le journaliste belge Martin Businaro assurait que les Iron Dames seraient bien pr\u00e9sentes en WEC la saison prochaine, et qu\u2019Iron Lynx pourrait continuer gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des pilotes apportant leur propre budget. \u201cDes bonnes nouvelles arriveront en temps voulu\u201d, confiait une source dans le paddock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Trop vite, trop grand ?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>En un an, Iron Dames est pass\u00e9e du symbole \u00e0 l\u2019empire, du r\u00eave \u00e0 la gestion quotidienne d\u2019un mod\u00e8le multisport complexe. La structure reste engag\u00e9e sur les grandes sc\u00e8nes du sport auto : la finale de l\u2019ELMS le 18 octobre, puis celle du WEC \u00e0 Bahre\u00efn d\u00e9but novembre.
