Comme un parfum de revanche apr\u00e8s une s\u00e9rie de podiums \u00e0 la fois gratifiants et frustrants et une attente depuis la victoire \u00e0 Riesenbeck en 2024. Cette fois, pas de calcul : Thibeau Spits et Impress-K van\u2019t Kattenheye Z ont mis tout le monde d\u2019accord dans le Grand Prix 5* de Fontainebleau. Un barrage \u00e0 six, des cadors pi\u00e9g\u00e9s\u2026 et un seul double sans-faute. Celui d\u2019un Belge de 25 ans qui n\u2019a jamais l\u00e2ch\u00e9 son cheval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tone was set from the very first stride. M\u00e9gane Moissonnier<\/span> , first to go with Crooner Tame, showed intent and speed\u2014but the course didn\u2019t forgive. Eight faults. Message sent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mieke recalls: \u201cAt the time, we didn\u2019t have paddocks for the stallions, so they were kept in a meadow at Woodland\u2019s. Thibeau\u2019s father, Patrick, started his motorbike near the field\u2026 and one horse jumped incredibly high over the fence. It left a mark on him. He went into the field, and refused to leave until he could buy that horse. That was Impress.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
And ever since, he\u2019s kept jumping just a little higher than the rest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
